2014 Grant Program for Medical Student Interest Groups

Medical Student Interest Groups (MSIGs) are a useful mechanism to encourage outstanding medical students to consider a career in pathology. To that end, ICPI launched a program in 2009 to enhance existing MSIGs and to develop new programs. In the past, ICPI matched up to $1,000 in funds provided by pathology departments to support MSIG programs. To date, 44 programs have been funded. In an effort to engage the participation of new institutions, the requirement for departments to provide matching funds has been removed. Please complete an MSIG 2014 Program Application and submit to ICPI by September 15, 2014. PDF

The Pathology Honor Society, previously administered by the Association of Pathology Chairs, is now supported and administered by ICPI. NEW this year: waiver of all fees for participating medical schools.
