UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, LOS ANGELES Program(s): The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers one-year post-sophomore and post-junior fellowships in pathology. After a brief orientation and introduction, fellows will rotate on various surgical and clinical pathology services and the autopsy service at UCLA Medical Center. Fellows are given responsibilities similar to first year residents. Elective for research experience is also available. Requirements: Applicants must have completed at least two years in an accredited medical school prior to the fellowship. Stipends: Stipend is $25,000 per year (with tuition paid by the department for UCLA students only), and $750 book allowance. Insurance benefits and meal cards are provided. Applications: Deadline is March 30th for fellowships beginning the following July. A curriculum vitae, two letters of recommendation and a current transcript are required. Interview is desirable.
