(Anatomic Pathology)

Program(s):

The Department of Pathology has one to two positions for post-sophomore fellows beginning May 1 or July 1, for 12 months. Each anatomic pathology fellow will do rotations of autopsy pathology, surgical pathology, and research or electives in pathology. Rotations are at Moffitt Hospital, Mt. Zion Medical Center and San Francisco General Hospital. The student can select a faculty member as their advisor for the research block. Fellows essentially function as first-year residents after the first few months of initial training. Participation in medical and dental student teaching is part of the rotation.



Requirements:

Applicants must have completed at least two years in an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada prior to beginning the fellowship.



Stipends:

$25,189.00 per year.
